Can 1 person really fight off many people? Like in those Kung Fu movies where on guy beats five to ten people?

I seen it in Movies but I%26#039;m wondering if it%26#039;s acutally possible and how skilled you would have to be to do it.|||Ten people highly unlikely !!!

But maybe a maximum of three is possible as I%26#039;ve done it but your mental resolve will have to be 100% or more to survive :)***|||It takes a combination of power, focus, breathing and thought and advanced skills in a deadly martial art such as Kung Fu San Soo to be able to fight off multiple attackers.

The Best defense is to run if you can because it%26#039;s not good to take a life which is what you would have to do if attack by many attackers.

Your strikes must brake bone and damage nerves and you must eliminate the stronger fighters first and quickly. if you can%26#039;t keep a cool head and haven%26#039;t mastered a martial art don%26#039;t even try it.

In real life ,a fight is over in seconds if the person has skills. if you take too long to beat one person you won%26#039;t be able to beat more than one.|||In IDF Combat Fitness school we train against multiple opponents. In real life I saw a friend beat down 6 guys at a bad night at a bar in Boston.

I have heard the legend of LCDR Roy Boehm, who took out 4 Marines half his age, when asked how he did it, he responded %26quot;PFW/PFD%26quot;.

Is it possible, sure, personally I have never seen a Kung Fu guy do it. Military trained guys seem to have more sucess at multiple opponents, part of it is conditioning, part is combat experience.|||Yes it is entirely possible, though not recommended. Before I got any real skills I got into numerous altercations. They were all with at least two or three people. As I aged there became this %26quot;gang%26quot; mentality and sometimes the numbers increased to around ten or slightly more.

There is a mentality that comes with these types of situations, and more often than not people don%26#039;t want or cannot handle it. When the need comes you must be severe in your actions and at the same time be able to stop when it%26#039;s done.

I%26#039;ll write more in tomorrow...|||it is possible but it wont be like the movies, in the movies they all kind of take turns fighting, in real life they will most likely just all jump in at once. but if you can hit hard and take punches you might be able to knock most or some of them down or maybe even all of them, but you would probably have to be extremely tough. but against 5 or 10, idk if they arent going to fight fair then you dont fight fair and take out some nunchucks, im sure you could take them out then if you know how to use them.|||It is not likely to beat multiple opponents. Hey a one on one is bad enough if your fighting a skilled guy. Movies are blown imagination. Not reality. The best thing to do against multiple opponents is to run and get out unscathed. If you ever notice in the movies the hero or star is fighting 1 at a time and everybody else is just standing around. In real life a gang of guys would bum rush you and knock you and and stomp you.|||Conditioning and intelligence equals survival. The movies are fun to watch but they are fiction. What I meant by my opening sentence is that if you condition yourself though whatever your discipline is and you keep your head about you, if you are faced with more than one hostile opponent you may find a way to escape with your life.|||it is possible, although for most people it is not probable. It is a matter of control. If you learn how to control your opponents it can be done. It will not be like the movies. Often you wil use one or more of the oponants as a shield while taking out the others.|||it all depends on who they are, how they come at you, how you fight

my sensei did a day...well a week devoted to real world stuff

and we put on full gear and had multiple opponents

i could handle up to 3 guys then i started to get beat

my sensei was just walking around with 5 guys coming at him

making fast lefts and rights to keep them %26quot;stacked%26quot; and keeping us at a distance with good jabs and foot jabs

i mean yea if there gunna come at you 1 at a time, and give you those great openings for perfect shots to their jaw

and you have the power and techingue to counter punch and knock them out

10 to 1 is nothing

but in real life, 3 guys coming at you at the same time each trying to hit you at the same time

its a lot of running, let me tell you that|||It all depends on what style you are using, and generally, the more basic styles will help you here. Anything above three- four would be pushing your luck too far. No matter how good you are, some one could still hit you from behind.

My reccomendation: avoid any and all situations that have you put up against more than one opponent, unless it is controlled.|||This all depend on who the attackers are? You can not beat 10 good street fighters all at once, no matter how good you are...but 10 average person who don%26#039;t know what to do then yes, it can be done.|||i saw a video on the internet of a guy on the italian news fighting off 7 people with just fast punches but he was like running backwards at the same time haha|||I could see maybe being able to fight off 3 --if you%26#039;re good enough to finish em off quickly . 5 to 10 people, you%26#039;d better use Nike-do and run like hell. lol|||Unless you only get into fights with preschoolers, No.|||CHUCK LIDDELL COULD KILL 50 MINIMUM!!!!!!!!!|||No.
